The BBC pundit was full of praise for Rangers on Twitter.

BBC pundit Jermaine Jenas has heaped praise on Rangers after watching the documentary about Fernando Ricksen's struggle against Motor Neurone Disease.

Jenas, a former Tottenham, Nottingham Forest and Queens Park Rangers midfielder who now makes regular appearances on BBC Sport television shows, was touched by the documentary about the former Rangers star.

And he sees the way the Gers are still supporting Ricksen as a sign of how 'great' the club are.

The Scottish Championship side have suffered much turmoil in recent seasons but Jenas took to Twitter to praise Rangers for the way they treat their ex-players despite all the on and off-field problems that have affected them over the years.

Ricksen, now 38, spent six years at Ibrox playing down the right-hand side for Rangers. The Dutchman could play both at right-back and right-midfield.

Meanwhile, Stuart McCall's Rangers side face a gruelling task in their bid for promotion this season, having to play several play-off matches in order to achieve the feat.

The Gers were 2-0 up against champions Hearts on Saturday afternoon but conceded two late goals to end up blowing their lead and drawing 2-2.
