The Slovenian is struggling for his best form since joining Cordoba on loan.
Yesterday saw Barcelona deal out a real pasting. The Catalan club thrashed Cordoba 8-0, a result which sees them relegated to Segunda Liga.
One player on the team-sheet, who had a really poor game, was Rene Krhin - a former Leeds United target.
The Slovenian was linked to the club in December, the Daily Mail reporting that Leeds were in contact with Inter Milan over a potential loan deal.
The interest however never turned into anything more than just that, and Krhin did not make his move to Elland Road.
Instead he went out on loan to Spain, joining Cordoba at the end of January.
He has only played in 12 games since making the move and so far has not actually played in a Cordoba win. The midfielder has also failed to score in his time at the club so is far from impressing.
It must have been a humbling experience for the player, who would perhaps have been better off heading to Leeds.
Although, Slovenian's don't have a good track record at Elland Road. Just ask Darko Milanic.
