Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City face off at White Hart Lane with plenty still to play for.
The way this season is going, Spurs will not have given up hope of a top-four finish following Manchester United’s third straight defeat. And a victory against the Blues this afternoon will make an emphatic statement with games running out.
As for City, they may be out of the race for the title but they will still want to finish second, with Arsenal hot on their heels and a Champions League place next season not yet secured.
Tottenham have a poor recent record against City, losing seven of their last eight league encounters, and some by particularly heavy score-lines.
Despite that City will know they will have to be at their best, with the prospect of losing five consecutive away matches likely to be at the forefront of manager Manuel Pellegrini’s mind.
Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane are likely to be the players who make the difference one way or the other once the game kicks off.
