Indeed, the duo took to Twitter to celebrate another phenomenal Tony Pulis win - and it was goalkeeper Boaz Myhill they singled out for praise after leaving Old Trafford.
Chris Brunt netted the winner for West Brom but Myhill saved a Robin van Persie penalty and the Baggies' 15th clean sheet of the season was very much welcome, especially considering the circumstances under which they achieved it.
As well as praising Myhill, Berahino also hailed the West Brom fans and a 'brilliant' team performance.
Lescott, meanwhile, is still focused purely on ensuring the Midlands club's Premier League safety.
What a brilliant team performance- Boaz Myhill was unbelievable, fans were different class till the end, safe journey back #GodIsGood— Saido Berahino (@SBerahino) May 2, 2015
Great result today, step closer to safety and thanx to #BigBo we kept our 15 clean sheet of the season— Joleon Lescott (@JoleonLescott) May 2, 2015
West Brom's Nigerian striker Brown Ideye also took to social media in reaction to a memorable three points against Manchester United.
The Baggies' one-goal victory over United takes them to the magical 40-point mark and Pulis and co can now begin to focus on next season.
What a job the Welshman has done since arriving at the Hawthorns - bar the odd poor performance and result. But did anyone really ever doubt he would produce?
