The Queens Park Rangers icon has taken his crystal ball out...
So it's that time of the season again. When QPR look doomed and it comes down to predicting every possible outcome - desperately searching for a way the R's can actually stay in the Premier League next season.
That searching seemed to work once, when Mark Hughes kept QPR in the top flight. But the club's luck ran out the following campaign and looks as though it has done once again this term.
But not according to club icon Rodney Marsh.
Indeed, the former QPR striker is still staying positive about the west London side's survival chances.
According to Marsh, the R's will beat Newcastle United - any betting man would say the same - and also Leicester City - this is far more debatable at present.
That would leave QPR needing just a point at Manchester City to retain their Premier League status...
QPR will beat Newcastle & Leicester so only need to draw at Man City to stay up....— Rodney Marsh (@RodneyMarsh10) May 2, 2015
QPR achieved survival at Manchester City that season under Hughes, of course, remembered for the famous 'Aguerrooooo' celebration that saw both the R's stay up and City lift the league title.
But, despite staving off relegation, QPR lost that day. It won't be enough to save them this time - even if Marsh's optimistic predictions come true!
