Peter Lovenkrands has predicted on social networking site Twitter that his former club Rangers will finish second in the Scottish Championship this season.
The Gers are currently third in the league table with 66 points from 35 matches, just a point behind second-placed Hibernian.
Both Rangers and Hibernian are in action today in the final round of matches in the ‘regular’ 2014-15 Scottish Championship campaign.
Stuart McCall’s side will take on champions Heart of Midlothian away from home at the Tynecastle Stadium in Edinburg this afternoon.
Meanwhile, Hibernian will face Falkirk away from home at the Falkirk Stadium.
Former Rangers attacker Lovenkrands believes that Rangers will win today and Hibernian will fail to pick up all three points.
I think if we win today at Hearts we Will finish second, Think hibs Will draw or Lose today. Come on the TeddyBears! #WATP— Peter Lovenkrands (@lovenkrands11) May 2, 2015
The fact that Hearts have already won the Championship and gained promotion to the Premiership could play to Rangers’ advantage.
However, Falkirk’s season is virtually over and they have nothing to play for, which could help Hibernian this afternoon.
