The Lazio attacking midfielder has admitted that he would relish the chance to move to Camp Nou.
The Brazilian attacking midfielder has been a key reason for the Rome-based club’s excellent season and has lit up Serie A with his fantastic shows of skill and goals galore.
The former Santos man’s coming of age has seen him touted for a move elsewhere, and the South American has dealt with the speculation in the press.
Anderson stated that he is happy at Lazio, but would relish the opportunity to move to Barcelona, who are also thought to be keeping tabs on him.
“I have heard so many rumours about Barcelona’s interest,” he is quoted as saying by Goloboesporte.
“I’m just thinking about my team Lazio at the moment.
“However, if the opportunity to play at a great club like Barca was presented, I would be happy.”
Anderson played alongside Neymar for Santos and the two gifted playmakers are very close friends away from the game.
As such, the Blaugrana would have the advantage in signing the Lazio star if they so saw fit after their current transfer ban expires.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has admitted that he needs to add goals to his side ahead of next season but it remains to be seen whether the Reds will move for Anderson this summer.
