A select round-up of the latest news relating to Leeds United…

Leeds United welcome Rotherham United to Elland Road this afternoon for their final Championship match of the season.

The last time these two sides met it finished 2-1 to Rotherham, and while Leeds will have taken confidence from their victory against Sheffield Wednesday last weekend, today’s opponents can relax after pulling clear of relegation troubles with a game remaining.

In early team news, the BBC reports that Aidy White could make his first appearance for Leeds this season having finally recovered from an injury he suffered last summer.

While Leeds boss Neil Redfearn has no new injury concerns he is definitely without defender Giuseppe Bellusci and midfielder Tomasso Bianchi.

In other news, former Leeds player Noel Whelan has been speaking to the Yorkshire Evening Post about his time at the club.

“When I got to Leeds it was a dream come true,” the 40-year-old said. “They’re the only club I ever wanted to play for.”

Whelan played just 50 matches for Leeds, but it is clear they will always be the fondest of memories.
