The tempestuous number nine’s presence has allowed Lionel Messi to play in a more withdrawn role while also offering the Camp Nou outfit a more direct threat in behind opposition defences.
Javier Mascherano has been full of praise for his Blaugrana team-mate and has stated that Suarez resembles former Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o.
"He is the closest thing I have seen in years to Eto’o,” goal.com report the Argentine as saying.

"He is a very humble person, he works hard and I've hit it off with him not just on the pitch but away from the field as well.”
Eto’o was a member of the Barcelona side that won the Champions League in 2006 and in 2009, with the experienced Cameroonian striker now plying his trade in Italy with Sampdoria.
Liverpool have struggled to score regularly since the departure of Suarez, who despite his questionable temperament at times has proven himself as one of the best in the world in his position.
Barcelona face Cordoba this weekend in La Liga, with Suarez looking to add to his personal goal haul this season and fire the club one step closer to the Spanish top flight title.
