Berahino & Lescott react on Twitter to Baggies win, hail 'unbelievable' match-winner

The West Brom duo were delighted after their side beat Manchester United, so too was their Nigerian striker.

There was one man Joleon Lescott and Saido Berahino had to thank after West Brom's 1-0 win over Manchester United.

Indeed, the duo took to Twitter to celebrate another phenomenal Tony Pulis win - and it was goalkeeper Boaz Myhill they singled out for praise after leaving Old Trafford.

Chris Brunt netted the winner for West Brom but Myhill saved a Robin van Persie penalty and the Baggies' 15th clean sheet of the season was very much welcome, especially considering the circumstances under which they achieved it.

As well as praising Myhill, Berahino also hailed the West Brom fans and a 'brilliant' team performance.

Lescott, meanwhile, is still focused purely on ensuring the Midlands club's Premier League safety.

West Brom's Nigerian striker Brown Ideye also took to social media in reaction to a memorable three points against Manchester United.

The Baggies' one-goal victory over United takes them to the magical 40-point mark and Pulis and co can now begin to focus on next season.

What a job the Welshman has done since arriving at the Hawthorns - bar the odd poor performance and result. But did anyone really ever doubt he would produce?
