Report: Deila plans Celtic clearout, Zaluska and Stokes among nine potential departures

Celtic manager Ronny Deila is reportedly planning a clearout this summer.

According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic manager Ronny Deila will conduct an overhaul of the squad this summer, including nine potential departures.

The Norwegian has already clinched the Scottish League Cup trophy, and now looks set to add to that with the Scottish Premiership title, possibly as soon as this weekend if the Bhoys beat Dundee and Aberdeen lose to Dundee United.

However, Deila will be looking to strengthen his squad this summer, and whilst arrivals are to be expected, he will also need to shift some players out of the Celtic Park exit door.

The Scottish Sun believe that six players are heading for the exit, with another three players possibly following them during the summer transfer window.

Out of contract goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska is on the list of departures, as well as winger Derk Boerrigter and striker Amido Balde and Teemu Pukki.

Loanees Aleksandar Tonev and Wakaso Mubarak will be sent back to Aston Villa and Rubin Kazan respectively, whilst there are 'doubts' over three more players.

Forwards Anthony Stokes, Stefan Scepovic and Holmbert Fridjonsson could all leave according to the report, as Deila starts trying to rebuild his attacking options this summer.
