Antonio, 25, has been one of the Championship’s standout performers this season, netting 14 goals in 45 league games, while also adding 14 assists.
His performance have not gone unnoticed a level up and now Villa, West Bromwich Albion and Swansea City are all reported to be after the ex-Sheffield Wednesday winger.
Having established himself among the club’s star men since arriving from Hillsborough in August, Forest are reluctant to lose Antonio after just one season but, with their promotion hopes long-gone, know that holding on to him will prove a far from straightforward task.
West Brom in fact made an approach for the former Reading product in the recent transfer window, per Sky Sports, before moving for Wigan Athletic’s Callum McManaman instead after their bid was knocked back.
The Baggies are thought to be preparing to make a new bid for the powerful attacker this summer, however, although now it looks like they will have to contend with both their Midlands rivals and Swansea for his signature.
A potential switch to Villa would also see Antonio reunited with on-loan teammate Gary Gardner, who has been in fine form since arriving at the City Ground this winter and now looks set to get a chance to prove himself to manager Tim Sherwood when he returns in the summer.
