Deutsche Bank has named Dixit Joshi global head of prime finance, replacing Murray Roos, who was hired by Citigroup, according to a person with knowledge of the moves.

Bloomberg News reports that Barry Bausano, who had been co-head of prime finance with Roos, was appointed chairman of hedge funds, a new role, said the person, who asked not to be identified discussing personnel matters.

Bausano will continue to report to Garth Ritchie, the bank’s global head of equities, as will Joshi.

In the meantime Reuters reports that Morgan Stanley has named two new co-heads of a physical oil trading business it plans to sell, according to an internal memo.

Thomas Simpson and Fabrizio Zichichi will take over the business from Michael Brennan, who is now head of physical oil, according to the memo, which was signed by commodities trading co-heads Nancy King and Peter Sherk.

Finally, Bloomberg News reports that Citigroup hired Murray Roos from Deutsche Bank in the newly created role of global head of sales for its equities and prime-finance units.

Roos, 39, will be based in London, Citigroup said in a statement Thursday. Roos, who starts in August, is the former global co-head of prime finance and co-head of European equities at Deutsche Bank.
