The talented Belgian has signed for Stoke City from Standard Liege.
This morning it was reported that Stoke City had finalised a deal for promising 15-year-old midfielder Thibaud Verlinden.
It was reported by Belgian site Het Laatste Nieuws that the Belgian under-16 international, who has scored one goal at that level for his nation, has left Standard Liege to become a product at Stoke City.
Now a picture has emerged of the teenager at Stoke City's training ground.
It is certainly something of a coup from Stoke, with Verlinden considered one of the top talents in Belgian football. In November last year he was linked with a move to Liverpool by the Daily Mail.
He will hope to do better than a previous hot prospect from his homeland did after a move to the Potteries. Florent Cuvelier arrived at Stoke from Portsmouth in 2010, himself a former Belgium under-16 international. But he never cut it at the club and is currently on loan to Burton Albion from Sheffield United, where he has suffered several knee injuries.
Stoke City fans will hope to see this young talent come good over the next five years at the Britannia Stadium.
