Dougie Freedman will have major news for Nottingham Forest fans on Monday

Holloway & Freedman

Dougie Freedman will reveal which players Nottingham Forest will let go in the summer transfer window next week.

Nottingham Forest manager Dougie Freedman has told BBC Radio Nottingham that he will reveal which players he does not want at the club next week.

Freedman seems to have made his decision already, and he has revealed that he will announce which players will leave on Monday.

It would be mere speculation at this moment in time to suggest which players Freedman does not want in his Forest squad for next season.

However, one suspects that the players who have struggled to perform well over the past few games will be under scrutiny.

Forest started well when Freedman took over in February and were at one point even in contention of a top-six finish, but since the international break, results have been disappointing.

In fact, since March 21, the Reds have not won a single game in the Championship and are in danger of ending the season on a disappointing note.

One suspects that Freedman would have observed his players carefully over the past month or so and realised which of them are not putting in the effort or lacking the attitude to take the team forward.
