Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey wishes Tottenham Hotspur Ben Davies a speedy recovery from his shoulder injury.

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey has taken to social networking site Twitter to wish his Wales international teammate Ben Davies a speedy recovery.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Davies has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a dislocated shoulder, according to BBC Sport.

The 22-year-old left-back slipped and fell awkwardly during SpursPremier League match against Southampton away from home at St. James’ Park on Saturday.

Davies underwent surgery on Wednesday and will miss for the remainder of the 2014-15 campaign.

Following the surgery, the former Swansea City youngster posted the following picture on Twitter, with former Wolverhampton Wanderers star Hennessey wishing him a quick recovery.

The injury will have come as a blow to Davies, who joined Tottenham from Premier League rivals Swansea in the summer of 2014.

Things have not gone as planned for the Welshman, who has struggled to play regularly for Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season.

The 22-year-old has been able to make only 14 appearances in the Premier League, creating eight chances and having a pass accuracy of 80% in the process.
