BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson believes Newcastle will lose again this weekend.
Pundit Mark Lawrenson has predicted in his BBC column that Leicester City will beat Newcastle United 2-0 at the King Power Stadium this weekend.
Leicester were seen as dead and buried just a matter of weeks ago, but have now given themselves a chance of Premier League survival.
Before the 3-1 midweek defeat to Chelsea, Leicester had won four games in a row, hauling themselves out of the relegation zone.
Now, the Foxes are looking to get back to winning ways with another home game - this time against a beleaguered Newcastle United side.
The Magpies have lost seven games in a row under interim boss John Carver, and are hurtling ever closer to the bottom three.
A defeat to Leicester would really make Magpies fans nervous, and BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson has predicted yet another loss for Newcastle, this time with a 2-0 scoreline at the King Power Stadium.
"I don't think Leicester's confidence will have been dented by their defeat by Chelsea on Wednesday night, and it will help knowing they have this game up next," said Lawrenson.
"Newcastle have lost their last seven games, which is pathetic when you consider the size of that club. Some of their performances have been atrocious and I don't see how their form is going to improve on Saturday," he added.
If that prediction comes true, Leicester would move just one point behind Newcastle, plunging Carver and the Magpies ever closer to the drop zone.
