Neil Redfearn has already identified targets for the summer.
Leeds United's summer is set to be an interesting one, with nobody yet knowing exactly what is going on at the club.
It is not yet known whether Neil Redfearn will stay at the club and there are many doubts regarding how they will proceed in the summer, especially regarding player transfers.
However, Leeds United boss Redfearn has a warning for the club hierarchy regarding transfer plans for the summer.
He has made it clear in his final press conference of the season that he has over five targets for the summer. However, he makes it clear the club must move fast, or risk losing out to other clubs.
Redfearn: "Decisions need to be made quickly because we've got to plan for next season. Good players will get snapped up." #lufc— Leeds United FC (@LUFC) April 30, 2015
Redfearn on signings: "It needs four or five players of the right quality that understand this division. That's a no brainer." #lufc— Leeds United FC (@LUFC) April 30, 2015
Redfearn has identified the "type of players" he'd like: "There are more than five targets but other people will want them too." #lufc— Leeds United FC (@LUFC) April 30, 2015
Leeds certainly need to bring in new players this summer. Wide men are necessary, a new striker would also be helpful as well as a new central-defender if Sol Bamba is not sticking around.
However Redfearn comments on how he wants players that know the league coming through the door. This may be where he and the club hierarchy fall out, as Leeds have recently been bringing in players from the Italian market - with mixed success.
One thing for sure, this summer at Leeds United does not look like being a dull one.
