The German striker is looking forward with the club after injury trouble.
The German youngster recently returned to action for the under-21s after a miserable spell of injuries and scored a true goalscorer's brace against Tottenham Hotspur in a recent fixture.
Now he has his eyes set on Everton for his first fixture against the Merseyside rivals in his three years at the club and is thankful for the club's help in his comeback from injury horror.
He told the official Liverpool website:
"It was really hard because after the second [injury] I didn't know what to do.
"But I was lucky that I had good people around me and they gave me confidence to come back.
"It was amazing support from all the staff, from my teammates, from the physios, my friends and family.
"They gave me confidence, they gave me motivation to come back and I think without them I might not have.
"I feel really sharp already but I know I'm not at 100 per cent. I'm sure there is more to come from me."
Liverpool snapped up Yesil in 2012 from Bayer Leverkusen and were getting their hands on one of the top talents in German football.
However he has had a torrid run of injuries during his time at Liverpool. Not long after playing his second game for the first-team in the League Cup he suffered a knee ligament injury on international duty. He then suffered the injury again and he has effectively been out of action for the past two years.#
Now, with Liverpool struggling for striker options, he will look to seize his chance with Liverpool's under-21 outfit and hope for a potential Premier League breakthrough before the end of the season.
