Hull City supporters have expressed their delight with Michael Dawson after the experienced centre-back secured them a crucial three points against Liverpool last night.
Dawson's header was the difference between the two sides and provided Hull with a crucial 1-0 win.
The Tigers are still in the thick of a relegation fight, but the three points that they got against Liverpool leaves their position in the league much safer than it was before.
Dawson's performance on the night was one which highlighted exactly why Steve Bruce decided to bring him in over the summer from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 31-year-old centre-back raised his game for the occasion and his goal was not the only thing which he contributed. Dawson was rock solid at the back, making six tackles and winning seven defensive duels in a totally assured performance.

It was a display which even reminded supporters of his old club, Tottenham, of just how capable a defender Dawson is on his day and some Lilywhites fans were even questioning why he was allowed to leave White Hart Lane.
In this piece we take a look at the best reaction from Hull and Spurs fans on social media site Twitter to Dawson's performance against Liverpool.
