Two Leeds teenagers have joined Scunthorpe United on trial.
Scunthorpe sealed their League One status last weekend, beating Gillingham 2-1 to move six points clear of the relegation zone with just one game to play.
As a result, manager Mark Robins will be keen to strengthen his squad in a bid to make sure the Iron aren't fighting the drop next season - and is already making moves.
Last week, the club's official Twitter account reported that Leeds youngster Isaac Assenso was on trial with the club, and featured in Scunthorpe's Under-21 side.
Now, the Scunthorpe Telegraph report that Assenso has been joined at Glanford Park by two other Leeds Under-18 aces as they prepare for life away from Elland Road.
The first is winger Piteu Crouz, who even scored in Scunthorpe's Under-21 match against Rotherham United today, whilst Liam Bennett has made it a trio of ex-Leeds youngsters trying to earn contracts at Scunthorpe.
It seems that none of them have a long-term future at Leeds, and are attempting to win deals at Scunthorpe ahead of their expected release this summer, meaning they won't follow in the footsteps of Lewis Cook, Alex Mowatt and Kalvin Phillips in reaching the Leeds first team under Neil Redfearn.
