The left-back has been in good form for Saint-Etienne this season.
At the end of January it was being reported by the BBC that Swansea City were interested in Saint-Etienne star Franck Tabanou.
They reported his agent as saying the two clubs had discussed a potential transfer for the former French under-21 international, who was reportedly valued at around £3 million.
In the end no deal ever came off and Tabanou has continued on his way at Les Verts.
But it is now being reported that Swansea will be in the market for Tabanou once again this summer. Foot Mercato are reporting that Swansea want Tabanou, who has been converted to a playing at left-back this season, to provide regular competition to Neil Taylor in the position at the Liberty Stadium.
They also claim that Swansea will only get the player if the French club fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. They are currently fourth in Ligue 1 on 60 points, two behind AS Monaco and three ahead of Olympique Marseille in the table.
Tabanou has played 36 times for his club this season, scoring one goal in a recent 1-0 win over Nantes.
