Leeds fans summarise season in three words: Two names feature

Leeds United fans were invited to summarise their club's season earlier this week.

BBC Radio Leeds’s Twitter account asked Leeds United fans to use three words to summarise the club’s season earlier this week.

It’s been an interesting campaign for Leeds fans, which has seen the first team controlled by three different managers, an operating officer come and go, a new chairman come in and the club’s owner suspended by the Football League.

Current manager Neil Redfearn currently doesn’t know whether he’ll be kept on for next season and was also forced to cope with his assistant Steve Thompson, suspended without warning.

The majority of responses to the plea from the radio station related to the current manager, as well as current centre forward Steve Morison.

Morison has found life difficult at the club this season, but he’s chipped in with much needed goals in recent weeks and should be looking to end the campaign well.

Credit has also been given to Leeds fans themselves in some of the replies, for the way they have stuck by the side, supporting them well all over the country in the face of adversity, which has followed the team around.

Hopefully Redfearn will keep his job and hopefully he will be backed to make the squad stronger over the summer.

Here’s a selection of the responses from Leeds United fans.
