Kurt Zouma has weighed into the debate over the chants levelled at Chelsea last weekend, report The Sun.
The Frenchman witnessed the 'boring' chants from Arsenal's Emirates crowd directed at their team, as they secured a 0-0 draw to go into last night's game at Leicester City with a 10 point advantage.
Zouma stated: "They are jealous because their team is not top of the league and they want to be top of the league like everyone wants to — that’s normal.
"We know that everybody wants to beat us so I think we play the same but more defensively — we have to concentrate and be focused.”
Arsenal went into last weekend's game needing a win to keep the title race alive, but Chelsea stood firm and frustrated the Gunners. There was no doubt the draw better suited the away side, who already held the advantage, and they did not feel they had to take risks to get the result they needed.
Zouma, 20, was a summer signing from St Etienne last summer, and has played 12 Premier League games this season, and 23 in all competitions, including starting the Capital One Cup Final.
Since Arsenal last won the Premier League title, they have won two FA Cups in 2005 and 2014, and are on course to do so again this year.
In the same period Chelsea have won four FA Cups, in 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2012, and three league titles in 2004/05, 2005/06 and 2009/10. There have been three League Cup triumphs, as well as one Champions League and one Europa League.
