Celtic won the match thanks to late goals from Josh Kerr and Mark Hill and the victory meant that they retained the Glasgow Cup, which they also won last year.
It is an example of the quality that the Bhoys currently have in their youth ranks and, with Ronny Deila in charge, the future looks bright for the prospects.
Deila has already outlined his faith in youth and a report in the Glasgow Evening Times yesterday even suggested that the club are determined to not overspend this summer, as they don't want to block their youngsters' path to the first-team.
At the moment Celtic have one of their most promising generations coming through and for them to get in the winning habit at such a young age can only stand them in good stead for the future.
As well as this cup win, Celtic's Under-17 squad will also have been buoyed by the recent call-up of Kieran Tierney to the first-team, after the defender made his debut against Dundee last week.
