Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has joked he is still haunted by Thierry Henry.
The former England defender went up against the Arsenal legend on numerous occasions, but with mixed success.
Henry netted nine goals in 18 appearances against Liverpool, and Carragher told The Express last year that the Frenchman was the opponent he feared more than any other.
During a discussion on Twitter regarding the Chelsea game last night, the former Premier League star commented that memories of Henry still plague him.
@rioferdy5 maybe I'm still scarred by getting dragged wide by Henry at Anfield.— Jamie Carragher (@Carra23) April 29, 2015
Unfortunately for Carragher he cannot escape the former Barcelona ace, who this year signed up to become a pundit alongside him with SkySports.
Carragher was quick to remind Rio Ferdinand about an opponent who once took him to the cleaners, Craig Bellamy.
@Carra23 there ya go! Won the game though so chin was up but pride down!!— Rio Ferdinand (@rioferdy5) April 29, 2015
Ferdinand has had a whole season to forget this year, struggling to recapture his old Manchester United form since making the move to QPR.
He is set to retire at the end of the season, having made just 11 Premier League appearance, the last coming on March 7.
