West Ham United’s Alex Song picks his best XI, includes ex-Arsenal duo Thierry Henry and Cesc Fabregas

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas find themselves in West Ham United star Alex Song’s best XI.

West Ham United star Alex Song has picked Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas in best XI from the players he has played with.

The Barcelona-owned midfielder made his picks during Sky Sports’ Fantasy Football Club last week.

This is how Song’s line-up looks like:

Carlos Kameni

Daniel Alves - Carles Puyol - Rigobert Song - Jordi Alba

Cesc Fabregas - Xavi - Andres Iniesta

Neymar - Lionel Messi - Thierry Henry

Song’s team does not have many surprises, and one can understand why he picked the players he did.

Barcelona trio Lionel Messi, Xavi and Andres Iniesta would get into anyone’s team who has played with them, while Neymar’s skills and talent are superb.

Song has also picked two of his former Arsenal teammates, Thierry Henry and Fabregas.

Again, no surprises.

Former France international striker Henry might go down as the best player in Arsenal’s history.

Fabregas, with whom Song played at both Arsenal and Barcelona, is a world-class midfielder and one of the best players in the world.

The Spain international joined Chelsea from Barcelona in the summer of 2014 and is on course to winning the Premier League title this season.

“He is one of the most clever players I have played against,” said Song about Fabregas. “For him, he sees everywhere and gives a good delivery.

“I know he is a quality player. He's done it at Arsenal and Barcelona so I was not surprised to see him come back to the Premier League with Chelsea.”
