Sunderland could find themselves looking for two new attacking players in the summer.
The Shields Gazette has reported that two key players could leave Sunderland if the club receive the right offers this summer.
The paper states that both Danny Graham and Steven Fletcher are players the Black Cats will consider allowing to move on, if either player receives the right offer.
The club may have no choice if they can’t avoid the drop down into the Championship by the end of the season, with the prospect of playing at a higher level obviously appealing.
Graham in particular will more than likely want assurances over playing time, having struggled to feature consistently at the club since he joined on a long term deal from Swansea City.
It will also be interesting to see what happens if Sunderland appoint a new manager in the summer.
That many may have different ideas and different theories over how to use either player, which could see them salvage a career with the North East club.
There is going to be some upheaval during the summer and if both players leave, there is going to be a hole in the attack of the side.
