Celtic are reportedly still keen on signing Nadir Ciftci.
Celtic are reportedly still keen on Nadir Ciftci, report The Scottish Sun, with a summer bid expected.
The paper claim Celtic want to snap him up at a bargain price of £1.5 million, with his contract set to expire in June 2016.
Ciftci is touted as a replacement for John Guidetti, who the club are not counting on being able to sign permanently at the end of the season.
Guidetti has previously suggested he would welcome interest from another league, quoted by Talksport in February stating he would consider an approach from Serie A side Lazio. Feyenoord and Marseille have also been linked, as reported SkySports.
Ciftci was previously linked to Celtic earlier in the season, and their aim to buy him at £1.5 million may not go down too well at Tannadice. The BBC reported in December that Dundee United wanted at least £3 million for him.
Celtic signed Gary Mackay-Steven and Stuart Armstrong on deadline day from the club in February in a double deal, before going onto knock Dundee United out of both cup competitions.
Ciftci, 23, has scored 14 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions in 2014/15.
