Tom Rogic played for an hour as Celtic's under-21 squad beat Kilmarnock last night.
Tom Rogic scored for Celtic's under-21 side last night, offering a glimmer of hope he may yet have a future at the club.
The Australian international has not featured at all this season, and has not kicked on after a 2013 move from Central Coast Mariners.
Rogic is still just 22-years-old and has a contract at Celtic until 2017, so if the club remain patient, there may yet be time for the central midfielder to fulfil his potential.
He featured for 61 minutes in last night's contest with Kilmarnock, with Celtic 3-2 winners.
Rogic netted Celtic's second of the game, scoring in the 51st minute, while his performance in the first half was described by the club's official website as 'prominent'.
So far he has only made 15 first team appearances for Celtic since signing, and was sent on loan to Melbourne Victory in 2014.
This season he has been badly affected by injuries, which caused him to miss last summer's World Cup with Australia, and their Asian Cup winning campaign earlier this year.
Celtic fans were intrigued to see him scoring again, with a few hopeful that manager Ronny Deila could yet get the best out of Rogic if he can prove his fitness.
Here is a look at the reaction via Twitter to his performance...

Would be nice to see Big Tam Rogic given another season to get fitness / game time to see what he can do. Might suit our style of play.— Ryan Tinney (@TinneyCFC89) April 27, 2015
