The report also stated that if Aarons fails to recover in time for that game, then he will be among the Newcastle players involved in the encounter against West Bromwich Albion at St. James’ Park on Saturday, May 19.
Aarons has not confirmed that report, but he has taken to Twitter to show his appreciation of the help and support he has been getting from Newcastle throughout the season.
The England Under-20 international has also described teammate Siem de Jong as “inspirational” following the goalscoring return of the injury-plagued Netherlands international attacker against Swansea City on Saturday.
Not a good result but I'd like to congratulate @siemdejong for his goal today. Well deserved been a tough season! Inspirational— Rolando Aarons (@R_Aarons16) April 25, 2015
Like to thank the support I've been getting since my first injury, it's not easy to have a lot of success then getting even more setbacks...— Rolando Aarons (@R_Aarons16) April 26, 2015
