Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths has taken to social networking site Twitter to revel in his side’s win against Dundee United away from home on Sunday.
The Bhoys made it two wins out of two in the Scottish Premiership when they got the better of United 3-0 at Tannadice Park.
The star of the show for Celtic was 24-year-old Scotland international Griffiths, who scored all three goals.
The former Dundee and Wolverhampton Wanderers striker broke the deadlock in the second minute of the second half with a clinical low finish.
Griffiths made it 2-0 to Celtic midway through the second period with a shot from close range and added a penalty in the 84th minute of the encounter.
After the match, the Scotsman took to Twitter to express his delight at the Bhoys’ win on Twitter:
Delighted with another 3 goals today. Last weeks 3 was for Rhys birthday, today's was for kacies! Now to the player of year awards— leigh griffiths (@Leighgriff09) April 26, 2015
The win means that Celtic are currently at the top of the Premiership table with 82 points from 34 matches, eight points clear of second-placed Aberdeen.
Ronny Deila’s side can secure the title on Saturday should they defeat Dundee on Friday and Aberdeen fail to beat Dundee United.
