Former Arsenal prospect Emmanuel Frimpong makes it clear what he thinks of Chelsea’s playing style

Arsenal and Chelsea played out a goalless draw at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

Former Arsenal prospect Emmanuel Frimpong has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his frustrations with Chelsea’s playing style.

Frimpong, now at Russian Premier League outfit, FC Ufa, made it clear what he thought of the Blues during Sunday’s game between Jose Mourinho’s side and Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

The 23-year-old Ghana international was following the Premier League encounter, which ended in a goalless draw, and he was less than impressed with the football produced by Chelsea.

While many would agree with former Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee Frimpong’s opinion of Chelsea, one needs to remember that Mourinho is not forced to play ‘pretty football’.

The primary objective of the Portuguese this season is to win the Premier League title, and it is up to him to play whatever way he thinks will help him reach that target.

Neutrals would understandably want Chelsea to play more entertaining football, but one should not moan if the Blues do not do that.

It is simple: if one does not like the way Chelsea play, then one should not watch them. There is no point in watching them and then bemoaning their style.
