Leeds United will go into the game against Coventry City this afternoon looking to end their list of scheduled fixtures on a high.
The strength of the team’s academy system has been very obvious throughout the campaign and it will be interesting to see who pushes the hardest to make the best impression with only one game left for the first team.
Leeds have done well in the Northern Section of the Professional Development League this season, with only Nottingham Forest, champions, and Huddersfield Town above them in the table.
There are areas to work on but first team boss Neil Redfearn and under-21 chief Jason Blunt, will be pleased with how the youth system has supported the first team throughout the year.
Players like Chris Dawson and Kalvin Phillips have shown what can be achieved if any player is willing to get his head down, work hard and work on consistency in order to try and get a shot in the senior ranks at Elland Road.
