Rangers fans react on Twitter to Lee McCulloch's performance against Falkirk

Rangers fans were split over the treatment of captain Lee McCulloch.

Rangers had to come from 2-0 down to earn a hard-fought point against Falkirk at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon in a disappointing afternoon.

Stuart McCall has made a strong start as Rangers manager, but it was all going wrong for the recently-appointed boss on Saturday afternoon.

Goals from John Baird and Tom Taiwo put Falkirk 2-0 up at Ibrox, leaving Rangers with a mountain to climb in the second half.

Newcastle loanee Haris Vuckic brought Rangers back into the game with a late goal, before Nicky Law snatched a last-gasp equaliser.

A point is better than none for Rangers, but manager McCall admitted he was 'sickened' in an interview with the BBC after the game - but not with the performance, but rather the treatment of captain Lee McCulloch.

The 36-year-old has been with the club for almost eight years now, and whilst he has been a loyal servant as club captain, fans are now growing tired of him, even booing him on Saturday.

The forward-turned-defender struggled on Saturday, and was easily beaten by Baird for the second Falkirk goal, eventually ending with Taiwo's goal.

McCulloch's contract at Rangers will expire this summer, and fans took to Twitter to discuss the booing, as well as McCulloch's future at Ibrox.

Here are some of the reactions from Rangers fans on Twitter after McCulloch's torrid afternoon on Saturday.
