Rangers had to come from 2-0 down to earn a hard-fought point against Falkirk at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon in a disappointing afternoon.
Stuart McCall has made a strong start as Rangers manager, but it was all going wrong for the recently-appointed boss on Saturday afternoon.
Goals from John Baird and Tom Taiwo put Falkirk 2-0 up at Ibrox, leaving Rangers with a mountain to climb in the second half.
Newcastle loanee Haris Vuckic brought Rangers back into the game with a late goal, before Nicky Law snatched a last-gasp equaliser.
A point is better than none for Rangers, but manager McCall admitted he was 'sickened' in an interview with the BBC after the game - but not with the performance, but rather the treatment of captain Lee McCulloch.
The 36-year-old has been with the club for almost eight years now, and whilst he has been a loyal servant as club captain, fans are now growing tired of him, even booing him on Saturday.
The forward-turned-defender struggled on Saturday, and was easily beaten by Baird for the second Falkirk goal, eventually ending with Taiwo's goal.
McCulloch's contract at Rangers will expire this summer, and fans took to Twitter to discuss the booing, as well as McCulloch's future at Ibrox.
Here are some of the reactions from Rangers fans on Twitter after McCulloch's torrid afternoon on Saturday.
Don't agree booing Rangers players but at the same time I've no sympathy for McCulloch. He's finished, he knows it. Hope it's now clear.— James (@James_iOS) April 25, 2015
Regardless McCulloch. Let his deal run out thank him and send him on his way. No coaching roles. Get rid. He is of no use to @RangersFC— BMC Rangers Rants (@BMCRangersRants) April 26, 2015
McCulloch's got an out of jail card for being that bad, now we feel for him. I don't. Isn't doing his 'dream job' to any decent standard.— Liam Watson (@liam_Watson72) April 26, 2015
I like Stuart McCall but ultimately his decision to keep picking Miller an McCulloch will,I believe, cost him the job.— Hotty 2 Scotty! $ (@scottmcqueen1) April 26, 2015
You should never boo your own players but Lee McCulloch is finished and shouldn't be in the team— Alan Middleton (@themiddletod) April 26, 2015
Disgusted with fans booing McCulloch today. Yes he's too slow & shouldn't be playing but we need to get behind the team during the game.— Gareth Smith (@garethsmith2206) April 25, 2015
Shocked by the abuse aimed at Lee McCulloch yesterday by some of our fans, we are there to support the team!!— Lindsay Brackenridge (@lgbrackenridge) April 26, 2015
As much as I agree McCulloch shouldn't be in the Rangers team...I'm disgusted to hear about the boos he got yesterday!— Ross Gourlay (@RossGourlay90) April 26, 2015
Have to agree that the booing of McCulloch is poor. He stood by this club when others didn't and we should remember that #Rangers— Graham Pringle (@pringo69) April 26, 2015
No wonder half the team left 2 years ago. The abuse of Lee McCulloch was absolutely shameful.— Fraser Wright (@fraserwright94) April 26, 2015
