Leeds United defeated Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 this weekend but what did the fans think of Charlie Taylor's contribution?
Charlie Taylor has had quite the season at Elland Road.
After waiting patiently for his chance at left-back, the departure of Stephen Warnock allowed the 21-year-old to stake a claim for a permanent first-team role.
He did so emphatically, playing 10 consecutive matches in his natural position and proving there was life after the former vice-captain.
More recently, Taylor has been switched to a left-midfield role and he has impressed time and again, proving that Leeds manager Neil Redfearn knows how to get the best out of his young players but also that some of them are able to effectively adjust at will.
Against Sheffield Wednesday this weekend, Taylor scored Leeds’ first goal, cancelling out Chris Maguire’s opener and ultimately allowing Steve Morison to net the winner.
It was another fine performance from Taylor, and one that suggested he is among the most talented youngsters coming through at Elland Road.
After the match we took to Twitter to see what Leeds fans thought of Taylor’s latest performance and you can read a selection of what we found below:
