Arsenal couldn't close the gap on leaders Chelsea after the two London rivals played out a 0-0 draw at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.
The Gunners went into the game ten points behind Chelsea and looking to cut that lead to seven points, but they finish up where they started as the Blues managed to squeeze out a draw in North London.
It was a game of few clear cut chances, with four shots on target across the 90 minutes from both teams combined, with many again believing that Blues boss Jose Mourinho 'parked the bus'.
Chelsea could have taken the lead in the first half, with midfielder Ramires running through on goal but sending a tame shot in David Ospina's arms.
Arsene Wenger's men had plenty of possession but could only muster one shot on target as Chelsea stood firm in defence to leave with a point.
It means Wenger has still yet to beat Mourinho in 12 attempts now, and virtually seals Chelsea's place as Premier League Champions, with just a matter of games to go until they can be crowned winners of the league once again.
For Arsenal, their faint title hopes are all but over, barring a collapse from Chelsea, but they will be keen to finish the season strongly and finish in second place.
