Tottenham Hotspur have spread the goals around this season.
It was a topsy-turvy encounter at St Mary’s and one which saw both teams attack with verve and intensity as they shared the spoils in a four-goal thriller.
Graziano Pelle notched twice for the hosts, whereas Erik Lamela and Chadli found the net for Spurs, the latter’s second-half equaliser of some significance.
Not only has Chadli now scored more Premier League goals than Belgian compatriot Eden Hazard, but his tenth league goal of the campaign means Spurs have set their very own unique Premier League record.
3 - Spurs have become the first team to have 3 players reach double figures for goals in the PL this season (Kane, Eriksen & Chadli). Trio.— OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) abril 25, 2015
Harry Kane currently leads the way for the Lilywhites, notching 20 Premier League goals this season, which places him alongside Manchester City ace Segio Aguero at the top of the scoring charts.
Danish international playmaker Christian Eriksen also has double figures for the season, grabbing his tenth of the campaign with another impressive free-kick during the 3-1 win at Newcastle United last weekend.
Chadli has often been overlooked this season due to Kane and Eriksen’s wonderful campaign, and BBC pundit Steve Claridge labelled him extremely frustrating during a recent 2-1 win against Queens Park Rangers.
However, the 25-year-old has been one of Mauricio Pochettino’s leading stars in 2014/15 and taking into account that he also has five assists to his name, he has certainly proved his doubters wrong.
