A select round-up of the latest news relating to Leeds United…

Leeds United take on Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship this afternoon in the match that kicks off the action in the second tier.

Wednesday are looking to build on their 2-2 draw against Bournemouth last time out while Leeds will be desperate to get back to winning ways as soon as possible.

In early team news, the BBC reports that Aidy White could make his first appearance for Leeds since suffering an injury in pre-season.

The versatile wide player featured for the club’s under-21s last week and could now step up to the first-team.

Lewis Cook and Edgar Cani will not feature while defender Giuseppe Bellusci is out for the rest of the season.

In other news, former Leeds player Tony Dorigo has been speaking to the Yorkshire Evening Post about his move to Elland Road.

The ex-England international ultimately made 139 appearances for Leeds and there is one thing he clearly remembers about his early days at the club.

“The noise at Elland Road was the big thing and I remember in my first game that the noise was amazing,” he said.
