Confirmed: Stoke City v Sunderland line-ups

This is how Stoke City and Sunderland will line up for the Premier League clash at the Britannia Stadium…

Sunderland will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League this afternoon when they take on Stoke City away from home.

The Black Cats will head into the game at the Britannia Stadium on the back of a 4-1 defeat to London outfit Crystal Palace at the Stadium of Light.

Dick Advocaat’s side are currently 16th in the Premier League table with 29 points from 32 matches, just a point above the bottom three.

Meanwhile, Stoke find themselves ninth in the league standings with 46 points from 33 games and look set to finish in the top 10.

The Potters will head into today’s encounter on the back of a 2-1 victory over Southampton at home and will be confident of picking up all three points.

Mark Hughes’s side are just four points shy of equalling last season's tally of 50 Premier League points, which was a new club record.

It promises to be an interesting game at the Britannia Stadium, and this is how Stoke and Sunderland will line up:
