The talented winger has scored three goals in as many games for Genoa.
But he struggled with injury problems at White Hart Lane and had relatively forgetful campaigns with Southampton and Almeria before a more productive time at Rayo Vallecano last season.
Now, at the age of 24, Spurs decided to let him go.
He joined Genoa in the summer and after initial struggles he has recently discovered his form for the club.
At the weekend he scored as the Serie A side lost to Palermo. They lost the game 2-1 but Falque will be pleased to have hit the back of the net once again.
He is in a good run of form at the moment. This goal came on the back of two other goalscoring performances. He netted against Parma in the week and against Cagliari last weekend, taking his tally for the season to nine in 25 appearances.
That has seen him linked with a move away from the club, with Inter Milan reportedly interested. It is reported by FC Inter News that Falque is happy to here of the rumours.
"I heard this rumour, but there are always so many rumors. Being linked with a great team is nice, but my thought is one hundred percent dedicated to Genoa."
Falque has certainly come on leaps and bounds since Tottenham decided to let him go. Time till tell if he can continue his fine form in Italian football.
