David Moyes is still said to be in regular contact with Marouane Fellaini.
A year has passed since David Moyes was fired by Manchester United, and both club and manager have moved on for the better.
United occupy third place with five games to go, an improvement on the seventh spot Moyes took them to last season.
He is now boss of Real Sociedad in La Liga, tasked with helping them recover from a disappointing 18 months which preceded his appointment.
An interview with The Express has revealed Moyes is still in contact with one United star, Marouane Fellaini.
The report states that the pair text frequently, with no bitter feelings between the pair.
Fellaini played under Moyes at Everton for several seasons before becoming his first signing at United, only to underperform, failing to score a single goal from midfield.
He has netted five this season to date, excelling for Louis van Gaal's side, form which could have saved David Moyes his job last season.
Speaking about his time at United, Moyes said: "It is now something that is a sad memory but it is also part of your development as a football manager. There are lots of managers who have had to lose their jobs and find a way back."
Sociedad are in 12th position in La Liga, but have not won any of their last four games.
