The Reds look set to miss out on a Champions League place this season, so manager Brendan Rodgers will be looking to improve his squad again.
Rodgers needs to succeed with his signings this summer after the dismal signings of Dejan Lovren and Mario Balotelli last summer.
Now, The Sun report that one of his signings from last summer could already be leaving Anfield, with Rickie Lambert allegedly being offered in part-exchange for Palace star Yannick Bolasie.
Lambert has started just five Premier League games since leaving Southampton almost a year ago, and the 33-year-old may want first-team football next season.
Meanwhile, DR Congo international Bolasie has been one of the success stories of the season, hitting four goals and six assists whilst producing dazzling displays with his athleticism down the flanks.
The 25-year-old is likely to be in demand this summer, and Liverpool reportedly believe they will be able to lure Bolasie to Merseyside by offering Palace money plus Lambert this summer.
With pace and direction, Bolasie offers something a little different to what Liverpool currently have, and still has some untapped potential that Rodgers will be keen to unlock if he manages to sign him this summer.
