Nottingham Forest youngster Dimitar Evtimov reveals his annoyance with Spanish teams on Twitter

Nottingham Forest youngster Dimitar Evtimov was watching last night’s Champions League tie between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Dimitar Evtimov has taken to social networking site Twittert to reveal his annoyance with the “fights” between the Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid players yesterday.

The 21-year-old Bulgarian was following the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie between the two Madrid teams at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The encounter ended in a 1-0 win for Carlo Ancelotti’s side and saw them progress to the semi-finals of Europe’s most prestigious club competition.

Towards the end of the game, the two sets of players were involved in altercations, which did not go down well with Evtimov.

While one can understand Evtimov’s frustrations, one needs to remember that this was a derby game in which a lot was at stake.

Atletico are an aggregative side anyway, and the grand occasion did get to some players. It is not in every Spanish football game that such things happen.
