The Netherlands international has spoken out about the Frenchman’s potential White Hart Lane exit.
The France international has been one of the most consistent goalkeepers in the Premier League over recent seasons and a real success for the North London club.
However, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side looking increasingly likely to miss out on qualification for Europe’s elite competition once more, speculation over the custodian’s future is starting to build.
The former Swansea keeper has talked up his chances of replacing Lloris, while also revealing that Brad Friedel is set to retire this summer.
“Should he leave, Spurs will certainly have a good goalkeeper still at the club,” he told Voetbal International.
“Our third goalkeeper Brad Friedel will stop after this season.
“And like Chelsea and Manchester United, we want the club to have at least two strong goalkeepers. But what the order will be, I am not sure.
"I can only say that Hugo has had a very good season and is someone who pursues the highest level attainable.
“That there is interest from top teams is not a surprise. But as long as nothing is concrete, it is difficult to judge whether something is going to happen.”
Vorm joined Spurs in a deal that saw Gylfi Sigurdsson move to the Liberty Stadium but has had to largely play second fiddle to Lloris this season.
The Dutch custodian has deputised for the French international captain due to a knee injury in recent weeks.
