Celtic beat Dundee 2-1 last night, with Kieran Tierney coming on late in the match.
Celtic defender Kieran Tierney has expressed his delight on Twitter after making his debut for the Bhoys last night.
Tierney came off the substitutes' bench to play the final nine minutes of Celtic's game against Dundee last night and the 17-year-old was ecstatic to have made his debut.
The full-back helped Celtic claim a 2-1 win over Dundee and he thanked supporters for the messages that they sent him after the match.
Thanks for all the messages!! Delighted to have made my debut, dream come true— Kieran Tierney (@kierantierney1) April 22, 2015
Celtic won the match after goals from Gary Mackay-Steven and Virgil van Dijk and it helped them get over the disappointing defeat against Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Cup semi-final at the weekend.
Celtic are now eight points clear at the top of the league and Tierney wasn't the only player to come out after the match to celebrate on social media.
Stefan Johansen also tweeted after the contest, but his attentions were firmly focused on the two goalscorers.
Celtic's next game comes at the weekend, when they take on Dundee United looking to further extend their advantage at the top of the division.
