John Hartson reacts on Twitter to Celtic’s win against Dundee

Celtic defeated Dundee 2-1 away from home in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday.

John Hartson has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Celtic’s victory over Dundee in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday.

Celtic bounced back from their Scottish Cup exit on Sunday with a 2-1 win in the league away from home.

The Bhoys headed into the game at Dens Park on the back of a 3-2 defeat to Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup at Hampden Park in Glasgow on Sunday.

Against Dundee, Gary Mackay-Steven put Ronny Deila’s side in the lead just past the half-hour mark, and Virgil van Dijk doubled the Hoops’ advantage with a brilliant free kick in the 63rd minute.

Although Jim McAlister halved the deficit for the hosts in the 87th minute, Celtic held on for all three points.

The win at Dundee means that Celtic are now eight points clear at the top of the Premiership table with 79 points from 33 matches.

Former Celtic striker Hartson was following the game, and he was delighted with the Glasgow-based outfit’s win.

Celtic will be back in action in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday, when they take on Dundee United away from home at Tannadice Park.
