Queens Park Rangers boss Chris Ramsey has hinted that he could start with Leroy Fer against West Ham United this weekend.

Queens Park Rangers boss Chris Ramsey has told reporters at his press conference today that he may take a chance and play Leroy Fer against West Ham United this weekend.

Fer has been out with injury since the start of February, but he could be rushed back into the team due to their need for wins.

Ramsey says that he may go with Fer from the start against West Ham, but he definitely hopes the Dutchman will be fit enough to at least be on the bench.

Fer's imminent return to action will be a major boost for QPR, as he is one of the most talented players in their squad.

Although the R's haven't seen the best of him yet, largely due to Harry Redknapp's insistence of playing him in an unfamiliar position, he still has shown glimpses of quality and he could be crucial in the run-in.

Fer is powerful and has a lot of skill in possession, meaning that he has the ability to be a match-winner for the R's.

QPR are currently two points away from safety and, with games running out, they will realise they need to beat West Ham this weekend if they are to avoid the drop.
