Arsenal legend Thierry Henry explains his Javier Hernandez criticism on Twitter

Arsenal great Thierry Henry sticks to his original criticism of Manchester United-owned striker Javier Hernandez.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has taken to social networking site Twitter to defend himself against criticism of his analysis of Javier Hernandez’s goal celebration yesterday.

The former Arsenal striker was not impressed with the way the Manchester United-owned striker celebrated his winner for Real Madrid against Atletico Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Hernandez scored what proved to be the winning goal of the second leg of the Champions League semi-final tie.

While the Mexico international was ecstatic with his strike, Henry pointed out on Sky Sports that the 26-year-old should have thanked his teammate Cristiano Ronaldo for providing him with the assist.

Henry’s criticism of Hernandez backfired, as the former Barcelona star was criticised by many on social media for his analysis, including Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin on Twitter (click here to read more).

The former Arsenal star has now explained himself by posting the following comments and video on Twitter.
