With Scott Sinclair telling the Daily Mail that he 'definitely' wants to sign for Aston Villa, the club should make certain that they acquire the winger from Manchester City.
Sinclair is currently on loan at Villa and he seems to fit in well with the rest of the squad that Tim Sherwood already has at his disposal.
Although he is due to head back to City at the end of the season currently, Sherwood needs to make sure this doesn't happen.
By brining in Sinclair on a permanent basis he can sign a player who wants to be at Villa Park, has a point to prove, and has already enhanced their attack.
Sinclair has played a rotational role since signing up at the club, but this is not a shock considering his lack of regular football ever since moving to City.
The England international has only made fleeting appearances over the past few years and it is hardly surprising that he is still trying to add consistency to his game.
With more game time he should get back to his best and, considering the flashes of quality he has already shown, Villa should make sure they sign him.
Sinclair has the ability to fit right in with Villa's current style, which allows them to attack with pace and freedom, and he could be a very important addition for the Midlands side as they look to renovate their squad this summer.
